Emergency Response Planning Specialist

The Emergency Response Planning Specialist will support internal and external planning initiatives related to emergency response capabilities and operational procedures for planned and unplanned events within Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties. The Emergency Response Planning Specialist will partner closely with local stakeholders to establish Capability Development Plans that inform the planning, organization, equipment, training, exercising, and evaluation of response capabilities within the region. Through the development and implementation of these Capability Development Plans, the Emergency Response Specialist will work to achieve the goals and objectives established within the MDERS Strategic Plan.
